How do owners and customers sign in?
Owners can use Google sign-in or an email login link from Setup / Login. Use the same account each time. Customers verify an emailed code for booking and portal access. See sign-in help if a link or code does not arrive.
Do I have to fill all setup details?
Complete the required business, country, time zone, availability and service details, then verify your sign-in email and connect Stripe. You can also use 60-second AI Setup powered by Google Gemini to describe your services and hours by voice or text. Required fields show validation messages. A logo is optional, and you can retry a failed upload without re-entering your setup.
How many services can I add, edit, or delete in one booking link?
You can save up to eight services under your main booking link. Edit names, prices, durations and service settings in the dashboard, save, then refresh the public booking page to check the result.
What is the customer portal? Is it the same portal for all customers?
Open your bookings, enter the email used for the booking and verify the code sent to that inbox. The portal shows bookings linked to that verified email and the actions available for each appointment.
How many payment types or payment statuses are there?
Customers can pay in full or pay a deposit when booking online. Owners can also create Pay Later appointments. Appointment status and payment status are separate: completing a service does not settle an outstanding balance.
Who pays the SoloPayLink fee — the solo business owner or the customer?
The business owner pays the SoloPayLink platform fee. Customers pay the service price. Stripe processing fees are separate. See current rates and currency examples.
What is Pay Full?
The customer pays the full service price upfront at Stripe checkout using Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. The booking is confirmed after payment is verified, and confirmation emails are queued for the customer and owner.
What is Pay Deposit?
The customer pays a 10% deposit to confirm the appointment. The remaining balance stays due and can be collected using the available balance-payment link or recorded by the owner after payment is received.
What is Pay Later?
The owner creates the appointment in the dashboard and pays its platform fee to confirm it. The customer’s full service balance remains due. The owner can record payment after receiving it, or use an available balance-payment link. Public customer Pay Later invitations are currently unavailable.
How do cancel and refund work?
Open the customer portal to check the actions available for your booking. Cancellation, refund windows and rescheduling approval depend on the business. Contact the owner for exceptions, used packages or a payment under review. A cancelled appointment and a completed refund are separate states.
How does calendar connection work and what is the benefit?
Connect Google Calendar in your dashboard and each confirmed booking is added to your calendar automatically. Your bookings are always listed in your SoloPayLink dashboard too. Events outside SoloPayLink do not block booking times, so add time off in SoloPayLink for those. See calendar help.
Who is SoloPayLink for?
SoloPayLink brings service selection, available times, Stripe checkout and booking records into one shareable link for a solo service business.
What is SoloPayLink exactly?
SoloPayLink is a simple booking link for solo service business owners. You create one booking page, share it anywhere, and customers can choose a time and pay securely online.
What is a booking link and what is the benefit?
A booking link is your public page for bookings. Instead of replying to messages one by one, you share one link and customers book and pay from there. It saves time and looks more professional.
Are any cards stored by SoloPayLink?
No. Card payments are handled by Stripe. SoloPayLink does not store customer card details.
Do customers need to create an account?
Customers do not need an owner account. Choose a service and time, enter contact details, verify the emailed code and continue to checkout. Portal access also requires verification of the booking email.
What happens after payment?
After payment is verified, the booking and its reserved time are saved and confirmation emails are queued. If the return page cannot confirm payment, use its retry action and check your bookings before paying again. Contact the business owner if the payment needs review.
How does the solo business owner pay SoloPayLink?
For full payments and deposits, the platform fee is deducted from the amount collected through checkout. For an owner-created Pay Later appointment, the owner pays a separate flat fee before confirmation. Paying that fee does not settle the customer’s service balance. Starter has no monthly fee; owners on the optional Pro or Business plan also pay that plan’s price and get lower booking fees. See current pricing.
Which countries and currencies does SoloPayLink support?
Owners in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom use AUD, NZD and GBP respectively. Online services use the saved business currency by default; owners can enable USD for online services. Onsite services keep the business currency.
Are there any monthly, annual, or subscription plans?
Yes, optional ones. Starter has no monthly fee: you pay a platform fee only when a customer pays. Pro and Business are optional monthly or yearly plans that add a website, booking questions, lower booking fees and more AI help. You can cancel a paid plan at any time. See the pricing page.
Can I use SoloPayLink if I work part time?
Yes. SoloPayLink works well for part-time solo service providers because you can set your own working days, hours, notice period, and availability.
Can I use SoloPayLink if I have a team?
SoloPayLink is mainly built for one solo person running their own service business. If you have a full team with multiple staff calendars, this is not the main use case.
How many links or slugs can I create with one account?
A SoloPayLink account is designed around one main public booking link per owner account. That keeps setup simple and consistent.
Can I change my user email address later?
Your account email comes from your verified sign-in. To arrange a change, contact support from your current account email. Updating a customer’s booking email does not change your own sign-in.
Does SoloPayLink support mobile, desktop, and common browsers?
Yes. SoloPayLink is built to work across modern mobile and desktop browsers so owners and customers can open links, book, and pay easily.
